Welcome to ToDoal

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the ToDoal website at https://todoal.com and the application at https://app.todoal.com

ToDoal is operated from India and co-founded by MD Faruk Abdulla and Nalband Abdul Qadir

By creating an account or using ToDoal you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy

If you do not agree to these terms you must stop using the service

1 — Eligibility and Minimum Age

ToDoal is intended for individuals aged 16 years and older

During registration you must confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement through the age confirmation checkbox

You must provide accurate information and must not misrepresent your age or identity

We do not request a date of birth or identity document as part of our standard age confirmation process

If we discover that an account does not meet our minimum age requirement we may restrict or terminate that account in accordance with applicable law

2 — Account Registration and Authentication

ToDoal supports account authentication through Google and GitHub OAuth

You are responsible for maintaining the security of the external account you use to sign in and for activities conducted through your ToDoal account

You must not impersonate another person or create accounts for fraudulent or unauthorized purposes

You must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

ToDoal does not directly collect or store a separate user-created ToDoal password

Your use of Google or GitHub authentication is also subject to the applicable provider terms and privacy policies

3 — Description of the Service

ToDoal is a productivity application designed to help users organize tasks and manage personal goals

Depending on the available plan and application features the service may include

• Tasks and subtasks
• Due dates and completion tracking
• Reminders and recurring schedules
• Daily weekly and monthly planning
• Yearly goals
• Productivity streaks and progress tracking
• Email notifications and briefings
• Paid subscription features

Features may change as we improve maintain or develop the application

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that using ToDoal will produce any specific productivity outcome

You remain responsible for your personal decisions schedules commitments and deadlines

4 — Acceptable Use

You agree to use ToDoal lawfully and responsibly

You must not

• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts databases APIs or infrastructure
• Exploit security vulnerabilities or bypass access controls
• Submit SQL injection payloads malicious scripts or harmful requests
• Conduct automated attacks or excessive requests that disrupt the service
• Use bots scripts or automation to abuse application functionality
• Interfere with another user's data or account
• Reverse engineer or attempt to circumvent security protections where prohibited by law
• Upload malicious code or content intended to damage the service
• Use ToDoal for fraud unlawful activities harassment or other prohibited conduct
• Circumvent subscription limits or access paid features without authorization
• Interfere with the operation security or availability of ToDoal

You must not use the service in a manner that harms other users or creates unreasonable operational or security risks

5 — Rate Limits and Abuse Prevention

ToDoal applies technical limits to help prevent spam automated abuse and excessive requests

Current server-side rate limits include

• Standard pages: 150 requests per minute
• API routes: 30 requests per minute
• Login and signup: 20 requests per five minutes

The application may also apply client-side burst protection and Cloudflare Turnstile verification

These limits may change when necessary to protect the service

Repeated violations or deliberate attempts to bypass these limits may result in temporary restrictions account suspension or permanent account deletion

6 — Security Violations and Account Termination

ToDoal may restrict or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the security integrity or availability of the service

Serious violations may result in immediate enforcement without prior warning where appropriate

Examples include deliberate exploitation of vulnerabilities malicious payloads unauthorized access attempts fraud and repeated abuse of rate limits

Our automated enforcement systems may take action after repeated detected violations including permanent account deletion when the applicable enforcement threshold is reached

The Super Admin may also suspend or delete individual accounts or multiple accounts when necessary to enforce these Terms

Where appropriate and legally permitted we may retain limited security records documenting the account identifier email address enforcement reason and timestamp

We will handle such records according to our Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations

7 — Account Inactivity and Automatic Deletion

ToDoal enforces a 90-day inactivity deletion policy

We may send account inactivity notifications at approximately 30 60 80 and 85 days without qualifying activity

If your account remains inactive throughout the 90-day period it will be automatically deleted

The final warning is intended to give you an opportunity to return to the service before deletion

Once the deletion process completes your account and associated productivity data are removed according to our implemented deletion process

You are responsible for exporting or saving any information you wish to retain before the deletion takes effect

8 — User Content and Data Responsibility

You retain your rights to the content you create and store in ToDoal to the extent provided by applicable law

You authorize ToDoal to process and store that content as necessary to provide operate secure and maintain the service

You are responsible for ensuring that your content is lawful and that you have the necessary rights to submit it

You must not use ToDoal to store or distribute content that violates applicable law or another person's rights

ToDoal does not claim ownership of your personal tasks goals or productivity records

Our collection use security and deletion practices are described in our Privacy Policy

9 — Subscriptions and Paid Features

ToDoal may offer paid plans that provide access to additional features

Subscription prices billing intervals and included features will be displayed during the purchase process

You agree to pay the charges shown at checkout for the subscription you select

Subscriptions may renew automatically when the applicable plan provides for recurring billing

You are responsible for reviewing the price renewal date and billing interval before completing your purchase

Paddle acts as our Merchant of Record and handles applicable payment processing billing and transaction documentation

ToDoal stores limited subscription identifiers and status information necessary to manage access to paid features

10 — Refunds and Cancellations

All payments are final and non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law

ToDoal does not offer discretionary refunds for change of mind unused subscription time forgotten renewals dissatisfaction or failure to use paid features

Subscription cancellation stops future renewals according to the applicable subscription terms

Cancellation does not automatically refund a payment already processed

If you delete your ToDoal account our implemented deletion process submits a cancellation request for the associated Paddle subscription

You should verify the cancellation confirmation and retain relevant billing records

Nothing in these Terms excludes a refund or other remedy that cannot legally be waived under applicable law

11 — Third-Party Services

ToDoal relies on third-party services that may include

• Firebase for authentication
• Supabase for database and backend functionality
• Paddle for subscription billing
• Brevo for transactional emails and configured reminders
• Cloudflare for security and content delivery
• Vercel and Hostinger for hosting and infrastructure
• Meta Pixel Microsoft Clarity Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for configured analytics and tracking

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies

ToDoal is not responsible for independent services outside our control except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded

12 — Privacy and Tracking Preferences

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we process personal information and use cookies or similar technologies

ToDoal may use analytics and advertising measurement tools to understand usage and evaluate marketing activity

Where required by applicable law we aim to obtain the appropriate consent before activating non-essential tracking technologies

You may manage the available cookie and tracking preferences through the controls provided by the application

13 — Account Deletion

You may delete your account through the available account settings functionality

Upon completion the implemented deletion process is designed to remove your account profile tasks subtasks reminders recurring schedules goals streaks and associated authentication account

The process also submits a cancellation request for the associated Paddle subscription

Certain limited records may be retained when required by law or reasonably necessary for security fraud prevention dispute resolution or legal compliance

Information independently retained by third-party providers remains subject to their respective retention obligations and policies

Account deletion is permanent and may not be reversible

14 — Intellectual Property

ToDoal's branding website design software interface original content and other proprietary materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws

Except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by us you must not copy redistribute sell modify or exploit proprietary elements of the service

These Terms do not transfer ownership of ToDoal's intellectual property to you

You retain your rights to your own content as described in these Terms

15 — Service Availability and Changes

We may update modify suspend or discontinue features when necessary for maintenance security legal compliance or product development

We aim to maintain a reliable service but do not guarantee that ToDoal will always be available without interruptions errors or data loss

Where reasonably practicable we may provide notice of material changes that significantly affect users

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded

16 — Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law ToDoal is provided on an as-available basis

We do not guarantee that the service will meet every individual requirement remain uninterrupted or be free from all defects

Productivity tools are provided for organizational assistance and do not guarantee improved performance achievement of goals or any particular result

You are responsible for maintaining independent records of critical deadlines and information where necessary

17 — Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law ToDoal and its operators will not be liable for indirect incidental special or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use the service

This may include losses resulting from interruptions missed reminders loss of productivity or unauthorized access except where liability cannot legally be excluded

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud deliberate misconduct or other matters where limitation is prohibited by applicable law

Any legally enforceable limitation of liability will be interpreted in accordance with the applicable law

18 — Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law you may be responsible for losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of ToDoal your material breach of these Terms or your infringement of third-party rights

This section does not impose liability where prohibited by applicable law

19 — Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the application our business practices or applicable legal requirements

The updated version will be published on our official website with a revised effective or last-updated date

Where required by law we will provide appropriate notice or obtain any necessary agreement before material changes take effect

Continued use of ToDoal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance only where such acceptance is legally valid

20 — Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India subject to applicable mandatory consumer protection and data protection laws

Disputes will be handled by the courts or other competent authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law

Nothing in this section deprives consumers of mandatory rights or forums available to them under applicable law
